Electrical District #3 Looks to Streamline Workflows with Enterprise Solutions
While the energy rates in Electrical District #3 have remained unchanged for the past four years, the same can’t be said for this mid-western cooperative of 21,000 meters. With unprecedented growth in the region, the co-op realized it had to look for ways to streamline its workflow in order to continue to provide the exceptional customer service that’s been its trademark since 1926. They knew the key was integration. New software had to be core-Esri, able to integrate into their existing SEDC CIS, be fully customizable and easy-to-use. After Milsoft Map failed to meet their expectations, Electrical District #3 hit a home run with FuturaGIS, Stake, Mobile and OMS. Like many cooperatives, outage management is a big focus for Electrical District #3. FuturaOMS fit the bill with its improved functionality and ability to seamlessly integrate with their existing Centurion IVR. In addition, Esri-based FuturaGIS, Stake and Mobile provide Electrical District #3 with the latest technologies to help field and office personnel increase efficiencies, eliminate duplicate entries and reduce errors. As a result, Electric District #3 has improved its customer service processes – without increasing personnel. We’re pleased to enhance the employee and member experience of this growing cooperative by providing the latest in software technologies and the best in customer service.
